LIMA, Peru, Dec. 16 Kyodo - The Climate Action Network announces on Dec. 11, 2014, that Japan is awarded a "Pending" Ray of the Day, barely missing the Ray of The Day award, in the Peruvian capital of Lima where the U.N. Climate Change Conference, also known as Conference of the Parties (COP 20), has been underway. The advocacy group of environmentalists gives out the Ray of the Day award to nations which are a ray of hope in negotiations on climate change in contrast to the Fossil of the Day award.
